Our Approaches

Solution Focused Therapy

Brief, goal orientated therapeutic approach that focuses on finding solutions & creating positive change, often approached through a Single Session Therapy lens. Focused on your desired future & the goals you wish to achieve. Emphasises your strengths, resources, & past successes, building on existing capabilities encouraging confidence to overcome challenges. Supports small manageable practical steps/strategies & insights towards meaningful changes to meet your goal/s. You are the expert & we empower you to take an active role in your own healing.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy takes a systemic view, exploring the patterns, beliefs, and interactions within a family to understand how challenges often arise from relationships rather than from one individual alone. Helping families become more aware of these patterns, develop new ways of connecting, and creating lasting changes that strengthen relationships and overall family wellbeing. A variety of frameworks may be draw upon to guide this work, including Structural, Strategic, Bowenian, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Contextual Family Therapy, tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each family.

Mindfulness Based Therapy

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your attention fully to the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Mindfulness Counselling can support you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and acceptance of your experiences. It helps reduce stress and anxiety, break patterns of reactive behavior and unhelpful thoughts, and fosters self-compassion and a kinder relationship with yourself.

Attachment Informed Therapy

Attachment-informed therapy focuses on the bonds between people and how early relationships shape the way we relate to others throughout life. By exploring the beliefs we hold about ourselves and others, as well as the ways we’ve learned to cope in relationships, this approach helps you understand patterns in your connections and build safer, healthier, and more fulfilling relationships. It can be beneficial at any stage of life—not just for parents of young children—but for adolescents, adults, and families navigating challenges or seeking to strengthen their relationships.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps you separate yourself from your problems and “re-author” your life story, highlighting your values, strengths, and skills. You are the expert in your own life, and this approach empowers you to create new, more helpful meanings for past and future experiences. It focuses on externalising challenges, exploring alternative storylines, and documenting change to support personal growth and problem resolution. Working collaboratively, the therapist partners with you to explore and redefine your story, fostering healing, empowerment, and lasting change.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotion-focused therapy helps you identify, explore, and understand your emotions to create positive change in your life and relationships. It recognises that emotions are central to how we experience ourselves and connect with others. By learning to process emotions effectively, EFT supports healing from past emotional wounds, strengthens self-awareness, and fosters healthier ways of relating to others. For couples, it helps partners communicate their feelings, deepen emotional connection, and resolve conflicts constructively.

Spiritually Integrated Approach

A Spiritually Integrated approach can help you explore your beliefs and values and develop a greater sense of life purpose and fulfillment. Whether it be spiritual or religious beliefs, it helps you connect with your inner wisdom, to understand underlying spiritual causes of your struggles and support self-growth to live a more fulfilled life.

We take a holistic, flexible approach, drawing on a blend of therapeutic models based on your needs.
